 Doli Sajake Rakhna
"How
did I land up in this movie? I was supposed to do a Tamil film
for producer K. T. Kunjumon opposite his son Aby, but the film
didn't take off. So I went back to Mumbai and continued with my
studies. Later, Priyadarshan saw my pictures at Anupam Kher's
office. I did a screen test for him and that's how I got my first
break in Doli Sajake Rakhna. What really went wrong with Doli
Sajake Rakhna? I really don't know. The film had the best talents
in the industry-- Priyadarshan, Akshaye Khanna, A. R. Rahman.
Maybe the timing of the film's release wasn't right. People didn't
take too kindly to a deglamourised heroine. Especially since all
the Mumbai heroines wear loads of make-up even for their so-called
deglamourised roles."

Line: Akshaye
meets Jothika, falls in love with her, her brothers beat him up
because he wants to marry her, after a while she falls in love
with him. They run away cause no on wants them to get married,
and realize that their family has to come first in their lives.
See what happens in the end! It was very nice. The songs &
even the background score was great.
